Furniture Rehab Left Side Lever Style Recliner Handle
Compatible with Newer Recliners
This handle measures 11 Inches long with a wood grain finish and comes with an escutcheon. The handle uses the square mount that sets onto a 1/2 inch drive tube. commonly used by major recliner brands. like Lazy Boy. This is for recliners with the lever on the left side. which has differently oriented mounting holes.
Check your chair for compatibility
Carefully observe the attachment of the handle to the drive tube. There are 2 handle fittings. a star-type and a square-type opening. Please measure the opening and handle length before placing an order. Usually the SQUARE TYPE opening fits the newer model Lazy Boy Recliner. The STAR TYPE opening fits the older model chairs. We can help you identify the correct item. if you are uncertain.

Always measure your existing recliner’s mount before buying!
To remove an existing handle. unscrew the mounting screw or bolt that holds your existing handle lever in place. then gently remove from drive tube. a long thin and hollow metal bar. Make sure to keep the mounting screw or bolt in a safe place. as you’ll need it to install the new lever.
Measure the width of the drivetube and width of the hole in your handle lever. which. and compare to our listing’s stated measurements. A proper replacement fit should fit smoothly and snugly onto the drive tube. and be able to be secured in place with the old mounting screw.
This is a left handed recliner handle. so be mindful of which side the lever is located on your chair. as the mounting hole is angled to match the orientation of your chair. and putting a right handed handle on a left handed chair may result in it the lever being too hard to reach or awkward to pull.
